Do You Need Extended Coverage?

Recent studies conducted at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Royal Military College of Science in Scotland reviewed wounding patterns and human performance in knife attacks. The cases of approximately 500 stab and slash victims revealed compelling results.

In this specific study, 37.4% of attacks targeted the chest, abdomen and shoulder areas. This represents areas protected by a traditional stab armor vest. 27.4% of wounds were in the areas of the neck, groin and arms.

It is obvious from these studies that extended protection for the neck, groin and arms will provide a significant reduction in injuries from slash and stab.
