Level IIIA Ballistics and V50 Testing
Our body armor will protect as well in its last day of use as it does in its first. Internal testing of 9 mm V50 at velocities above 1900 ft/s results in Level IIIA body armor with a higher margin of safety and reliable performance. We run the most extensive ballistics tests in our Department of Defense (US DoD) approved lab facility and perform V50 and Backface Signature (BFS) testing after the ballistic materials have undergone both accelerated aging (simulated full-time use in the field) and vest conditioning (simulated user break-in)—both of which can contribute to loss of ballistic performance over time.
Proof of Protection
Our body armor design methods eliminate the missing link in existing standard testing procedures that do not validate body armor design or prove protection levels of aged body armor. We ensure life safety with frequent testing of raw materials and finished products at regular intervals. Our test data from each production run is readily available to all customers.
